Technician servicing a standby generator

ROUTINE GENERATOR SERVICE

Generator Maintenance

Schedule routine service when your generator reaches its manufacturer-recommended maintenance interval.

ONE-TIME OR SCHEDULED SERVICE

Routine Maintenance Without a Monitoring Plan

This option is for homeowners who need routine generator maintenance but do not want ongoing remote monitoring or a managed maintenance program.

Engine Service

Manufacturer-required oil, oil-filter, air-filter, and spark-plug service as applicable to the generator and interval.

Battery & Visual Check

Battery inspection plus a visual review for leaks, damage, corrosion, and loose connections.

Operating Check

Exercise and operating-status checks help confirm the generator is completing routine operation as expected.

You Schedule It When It’s Due

Maintenance is performed according to the manufacturer’s recommended time or engine-hour interval. You contact Builders Power to arrange each visit, and service is billed when performed.

Prefer automatic alerts? See Basic Monitoring & Priority Scheduling. Want monitoring plus routine maintenance managed for you? See the Power Assurance Program.
